Sylvia D. Lee

Sylvia D. Lee is a pianist and teacher currently residing in Coquitlam, BC where she operates an independent Piano Studio.

Sylvia attained her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music (New York, NY), where she experienced numerous performance and pedagogic opportunities. At MSM, she studied in Dr. Joanne Polk's studio, and her Chamber Coaches included Wolfram Koessel of the American String Quartet, Dr. Haesook Rhee and Raymond Beegle.

Sylvia is a Yamaha certified instructor who has fulfilled all the requirements as determined by Yamaha Canada Music Ltd., and has been granted on the recommendation of the National Education Department the diploma of Junior Music Course Instructor.

Sylvia also has various performance experiences, at many different venues including Lincoln Center (NY) as a competition winner, The Gordon K. and Harriet Greenfield Hall (NY), and many others.
